چکیده
Abstract Urban coastal wetlands are fragile ecosystems that provide important ecosystemic services. However, these subject to considerable external pressures from urban development, which leads serious disturbances in their structure, functioning, and diversity as a result of the advancement urban, agricultural, foraging, drainage activities, well displacement endemic species by invasive ones. Within biological communities ecosystems, arthropods play an trophic ecological role food resource, pollinating agents, controllers, organic matter decomposers, nutrient cyclers. In this paper we characterize taxonomic richness abundance terrestrial arthropod fauna Aguada de La Chimba wetland (Antofagasta Region, Chile) using various methods. From total 1,874 specimens, identified 109 species, where Insecta was most represented taxon, with 85 47 families, 15 orders. The estimated values were higher than observed for different groups under study, insects showed highest all estimators. Based on origin, included native (24%), naturalized (22%), lesser extent, species. We also major threats discuss importance building public–private partnerships local community success biodiversity conservation programs ecosystems.

Wetlands as water resources have a special place in the semi-arid plateau of Iran and boundary determination is necessary for their effective conservation and conflict resolution among stakeholders that are dependent on these resources. Determination of the wetland boundaries should be commensurate with environmental features affecting on it which normally extend beyond water extent. Ecological...
